DecreeMaintenance
Colorado places no waiting period on remarriage after divorce. Once the judge signs the Decree of Dissolution, you're free to remarry immediately. Bring a certified copy of your decree and valid photo ID when you apply for a new marriage license. Remember that remarriage generally ends any maintenance you were receiving from a prior spouse (it terminates on the recipient's remarriage unless the parties agreed otherwise), so factor that into the timing. If you're paying maintenance, your own remarriage doesn't end the obligation, though a major change in your finances might be grounds to ask the court to modify it.
